Millie was a very special Godmother to me. Growing up I spent every Christmas with her, and as I got older I was able to enjoy having a drink with my granny and Millie. They’d both never fail to make me laugh. Millie had some of the funniest stories from when she was younger, and she was always such a laugh and able to laugh at herself.
I moved abroad last year and I’m very sorry I couldn’t make the funeral. Millie I will always love you and I thank you for always being there for me growing up ❤️

Mille was always a special member of our family. I have known her all my life, spending numerous Christmases and holidays together. She was one of my mum’s closest and best friends, an auntie to me, always enjoyed many happy occasions with my husband Jerry and son Nick. She was a loving godmother to my daughter Sophia who’s heartbroken in Seattle, USA as she cannot be at the funeral but has asked me to say that Millie was an exceptional god mother so much so she named her eldest son Harvey as a sign of respect and love for Millie . My mum Barbara, Audrey, and Millie were like the Three Musketeers. They travelled all around the world and enjoyed many holidays and trips away. I was fortunate enough to join them on a 3 week trip of India which was a wonderful experience. The 3 ladies had a very strong friendship, meeting 2 or 3 times a week. Unfortunately Audrey died first leaving mum and Millie grief stricken. Audrey was the strong organiser of the trio, they had such fun and always had a really strong bond. Mum died almost 3 years ago but we still continued to visit and speak to Millie on a regular basis until the end of her life. Unfortunately we were in America when she passed away and we will always be sorry we couldn’t have shared her final days. She was selfless, kind, generous and very trusting. I would just like to say Millie we loved you, we cared and we will never forget you! You were a very special lady and someone who will always remain in our hearts.
I hope the three friends have reunited and enjoying a glass or two!
All our love
Sally, Jerry, Sophia, Nick and family ❤️❤️❤️❤️
